Fall foliage in Hawaii

Hawaii has no fall foliage season. A few introduced trees at elevation, such as the liquidambar plantings on Maui and the Big Island, show some change in the cooler months, but there is no statewide pattern to describe.

Where fall color does happen

A fall display needs a long cool autumn and trees that drop their leaves for the winter. Hawaii has neither, so there is no foliage season here to forecast.
